Geelong Lacking Experience?

The more experienced players of Geelong
It has been question asked throughout the AFL community, is Geelong missing the experienced players like Tom Harley, Cameron Ling and Brad Ottens? Have these players kept the foundations of the Cats stable which allowed them a key to glory? Well, personally i think that they helped the team but Geelong can cope without them. Even though they haven't had the season of 2012 that they were expecting, they have won some of the large games and have played just as well without these 'key' players.

1Joel Selwood1226.33
2James Kelly1024.40
3Paul Chapman1222.67
4Joel Corey1222.58
5Steve Johnson1321.69
6Jimmy Bartel1221.42
7Corey Enright1220.67
8Allen Christensen919.22
9Andrew Mackie1317.92
10Mitchell Duncan1317.15

By these two tables it seems to me that there is not much difference. Players like Joel Selwood, Joel Corey, Paul Chapman, Steve Johnson and Jimmy Bartel are all present in both tables and are valuable to the team. It is also nice to see that the newer player like Allen Christensen and Mitchell Duncan are making the top ten.

While the players that have left the club will be missed, there is still hope for the younger player to step up to the plate and show some confidence on the field. But luckily for the Cats they still have the vital players like the two Joel's and Steve Johnson. Geelong is still a large chance for premiership glory. Please comment your opinion.
